League Format

Standard 9-category, weekly head-to-head matchups. The nine categories are Points, Rebounds, Assists, Turnovers, Blocks, Steals, 3PM, FG%, and FT%.

For Season 5, we are introducing a new weekly-payout format. Each week there is a $20 wager on each matchup -$15 of which will go to the winner. If you win your match up that week, you win $15. The remaining $5 will go into the communal pot. With a 18-week season, the playoff communal pot total will be $540. Like past seasons, the pot will be divided amongst the 3 finalists with 3rd place taking home $100, second place taking home $140, and the first place taking home the grand prize of $300.

The purpose of which is encouraging maximum engagement through the season, incentivizing weekly diligence with more mini-payouts. Check out the Google Sheet here to see the records and corresponding payout as the season progress.

Proposed Rule Changes for Season 5

1. We will be switching to the standard day-of pickups of free agents, so you can make day-of adjustments as opposed to having to make them a day in advance.

2. To offset the streaming advantage for more active managers, we will be reducing weekly roster moves from 7 to 4.

3. Waivers will still go through waivers, but we are looking to institute the Free Agency Acquisition Budget (FAAB) system to make it more skill-based.

4. Roster size will be reduced from 14 to 13, and IR+ to 2 slots.
